indieVISUAL (Norifumi Kudeken), who has spent the past three years working as an independent videographer primarily based on Okinawa’s main island, is currently on hiatus from all activities. Going forward, he plans to completely rethink and rebuild the concept, working style, and approach to visual content creation — as well as many of the elements that shaped his previous projects. In an era where generative AI has made video creation accessible to anyone, he is stepping away from commercial activities such as commissioned video production — for now.

As visual media continues to saturate the internet, the question arises: what are we truly seeking through visual content? His next chapter will explore how moving images can bridge the gap between seeing and truly perceiving. With the generous support of those who have stood by him, he is taking the time to lay the foundation for this new direction as he thoughtfully prepares for what lies ahead.
